Kinja'd!!!

Is that the stock mounting location? Looks really hidden. I'd assume it's completely legal, but dang.

Not stock and more than likely not legal.

This is stock:

*cough*

it more legal now, the stock suspension sagged badly, and hid the plate. with the next shock right now, it bring the tail up an inch or two. making it (almost) legal

650 or 1000?

I once had an '01 650S that I made into a track rat. Gixxer forks and shock, plus some race rubber and I gave zero fcks about it at the track. Great bike. Shouldn't have replaced it with the R6, but the speed/handling was too intoxicating.

650.

and i'm in the process of the GSX-R stuiff ATM.

problem: mine has ABS. and AFAIK, i'm the first person to try and keep the ABS on the conversion. its been proving to be a bit of a pain, but i think it will all be worth it.

Why do motorcyclists always complain about no being seen but dont have good lighting? Those rear lights are tiny and dont help someone who isnt paying attention see you braking and not run you over

the lighting make them seem less bright. believe me, they are PLENTY bright.
not to mention I have neon all over the bike and HID's tht I have one all the time.

Gotcha. Around here (college town) i see squids all the time with the tiny square led lights that you can barely see in the day light

thats kinda cumb, but given the entire nature of motorcycles, it really hard to get a 1/2 decent light on it because its so flipping thin.
I actually ordered a small brake like tht sticks onto my jacket/backpack and hooks up to the brake lights. Just need to get a good, motorcycle dedicated bag first

kinda like this:

the problem is, someone who isnt going to notice the little brake lights we have added to us probably didnt notice us in the first place. hence part of the reason i ride with a loud exhaust
